It wasn’t long after we cast out this
big ball of bait that a Mekong catfish (Plabuk) took our offering
and kicked off a battle. With the
brute running off the other way I
forced the rod to flex and see how it
curved. It has a pretty uneven curve
being built with flexible fibreglass
and the more rigid graphite; but it
held on well.
