The guides on the Ugly Stik GS2 are one piece
stainless steel guides. They too add weight to the
blank bringing the weight forward towards the
tip. They may be heavier but they are tough, will
not burn a hole in one’s pockets, and can handle
braided lines. Another good thing with not having
inserts is that nothing will pop out under pressure.
