When I first picked up the Ugly
Stik GS2 rod, it felt as if someone is messing with my senses. It
feels heavy and it is tip heavy. It
feels somewhat like a fibreglass
rod but it has the looks of a modern day graphite rod because it
is a graphite rod until you see
the fibreglass tip. It is like getting
into an old car fitted with a modern car’s body. In all honesty, I
wasn’t sure if I wanted to test the
rod but then I decided to give it a
go.
