Drag

The model that I have with me is the
Conflict 6000 that claims a maximum
drag of 25lb. Back at our lab we put it
through the drag pressure test and we are
a bit disappointed. Its Versa Drag did exceptionally well maxing out at 29lb with
a very smooth drag. The disappointment
is that for some reason Penn has capped
the max drag to 29lb by not allowing one
to continue locking the drag knob. The
Conflict can certainly take more pressure. It is like some of the Japanese turbo
charged cars that are capped to 180 kph.
Still it passed the pressure test doing very
well.
