About two hours into our fishing, the term
“raining cats and dogs” seemed modest to
the storm that hit us. Things went quiet
after landing another two more Mekong
catfishes. This was probably due to the massive heavy rain. Well, at least we were dry
although it got quite cold.

Fishing resumed after the rain stopped at
night but action has slowed probably due
to the change in water temperature as suggested by our guide. We landed three more
Mekong catfishes and decided to call it a
day.
