Casting Ability
I cannot confirm if there is a difference
when it comes to casting. I’ve tested two
rods that are the same model with one rebuilt into a spiral wrapped rod. Being tested
on the same line, reel, and casting plug, the
difference in casting distance seems somewhat negligible with the spiral wrapped rod
giving a slightly further distance.
