The Daiwa 503 reels were developed
back in the 1960s to the 1970s and they
were made for the USA market (mainly
North America) and sold in Ted Williams (SEARS). The Daiwa 503 comes
exclusively as right handed reels. There
were two types of the 503. One comes
with an engraved label whereas the other comes with a printed metal label (this
model).
