Does Scent Really Work For
Fishing
Do men get attracted to the scent of fine
perfume used by a lady? Yeah! Scent works.
Many anglers have used them successfully
in fishing tournaments around the world.
Of course they work. But sometimes they
don’t. You’re fishing beside someone who
is catching lots of fish and you’re not but
you’re the only one using scent. Something
must be wrong in this scenario, right?
How Does Scent Work?
When it comes to fishing, scent works two
ways. One is to attract a nearby fish to investigate the bait. The other is to mask any
unpleasant scents or rather odours that
keeps fishes away such as the scent of humans (predator), cigarette smoke, gasoline,
etc. In this case scent is used to neutralize
other odours thus not scaring away fishes
from the bait.
