Test
This may not be the best test but what
the heck, I did a free spool test to see
how what the time differences would
be spinning the spool without any
lines on, zero spool settings, with zero
(very low) resistance.
The one with the original bearings
spun freely to a stop at the longest time
of 5.9 seconds (a few tries). The one
with the RP Custom ABEC 7 bearings
spun free with the longest time of 6.5
seconds of which is less than a second more than the original bearings.
Doesn’t seem like much.
