I have personally chewed on softbaits
(Berkley Gulp!, and as if that was not
enough; Powerbait). Powerbaits tasted
half as bad as Gulp!. A series of Powerbaits have something extremely salty
within it and that too does not taste half
as bad as Gulp! Gulp tastes like a mixture of rotting meat juices and weird
oil. It doesn’t wash out easy. Takes a lot
of gargling to reduce the after taste.

That said and done I am no fish. Just a
curios angler that wanted to know what
the heck these baits taste like. Oh, in
case you wanted to know Havoc taste
like Powerbait... I certainly do not like
the taste but fish seems to like them. So,
use them to your advantage.
