The Setup
To do this test I used two identical
Abu Garcia Revo MGX baitcasting
reels (one borrowed from a friend).
One of them is new (the borrowed
one) while the other has been catching fish (mine). What I did was to use
my reel as the main test subject while
we used only the side place and spool
of the new reel.

I had one Hybrid Ceramic bearing installed onto my spare spool and the
other into the side plate of my reel
while the other reel use its original
bearings. What I am going to do is to
change the spools and the side plates
to test these bearings.
