The original bearing that came
with the REVO MGX (ABEC
5) weighing in at 1 gram.

The RP Custom Hybrid bearing rated ABEC 7. Certainly
is lighter than the original. I
need a new weighing scale.

It is said that the ceramic or hybrid
bearings give better casting distances
because they are lighter than stainless steel bearings and they are better
at dissipating heat. They are known to
have lesser electromagnetic interferences as compared to stainless steel.
Makes sense.
