While chromed side plates look awesome
they have one disadvantage. They smudge
especially when one’s hands are wet with
saltwater, fish slime, grime, etc. most of
which are unavoidable when one fishes.
Still, looks blardy good and I will still go on
buying chromed reels anyway. Oh, be careful with them if you use suntan lotion aka
chrome killer.
An issue that I faced with the Revo Beast
that I was handed is automatic disengagement of the free spool / thumbar during the
cast. It automatically disengaged intermittently but often. I took it back to Pure Fishing and was told that it is a sample reel and
they had the same issue too, and handed
me another unit of which is from their inventory. The second unit has been problem
free till now.
