I was casting soft plastic of different
models and of various sizes with jigheads of various weights (mainly 1/2
oz. and 1/4 oz.), and 1/4 oz. lures in
windy conditions. This wasn’t an issue as the Beast comes with more
than enough ways to control the spool
against birds nesting. I got really good
distances too when the wind stopped.
