And Colours
The sky has an effect on colours too. On a bright sunny day light penetrates deeper as there is more light
but as clouds block out the sun’s rays or as the sun
sets, the penetration of light becomes lower. This goes
to say that the colour of your lures will be effected by
weather.
When there is not enough light say like on a cloudy
day or at dusk and dawn, bright colours are first to
fade beginning with red. As it gets dark fish can no
longer distinguish colours. This is where light coloured lures like bright silver, white, and luminous
colours come into play.
