The River Monster is no pistol. I would class it along the
lines of the M16 and AK47 aka assault rifles and in this
case; fishing rod. It is not a light weight rod. Not heavy
either. Somewhat like the M4 Carbine of which is derived
from the M16 but lighter.
The River Monster rod is made to drag monsters out of
cover and to beat them into submission. At least that is
how the Medium Heavy powered rod that we tested perform.
