Should you need to stop a fish from swimming into the snags The Colonel will do
that for you. Should you need to yank fish
out of cover The Colonel will do that for
you. Should you want a rod that is lightweight, oh well, The Colonel is not the
lightest rod around but it certainly is not
heavy. Let’s just say that it is like the Ford
Mustang in the world of cars and not the
Ferraris.

When it comes to balance, The Colonel
is quite well balanced with slightly more
weight up front at the tip section. Being
a lure casting the rod The Colonel is perhaps made that way as we have our rod
tips pointed towards the water most of the
time while we manipulate our lures.
