The next day I fished a new spinnerbait, but the fishing was really slow. I added the Berkley 3” Powergrub
in hopes of triggering more bites. I hooked a solid
striped snakehead, but after an acrobatic flip and a
dive into weeds, it was off. I did not give up and continued casting. I received a consolation in form of
this healthy striped snakehead, which ambushed the
spinnerbait during the fall.
