they work, etc. Let us now go further taking a look at how scent can
be used with the various types of
fishing. We’ll start out with bottom
fishing in this issue.

The Scent Trail
Scent works very well for bottom
fishing. The reason scent works
well for bottom fishing is because
the bait does not move much. Once
the bait reaches the bottom chances
are that it will stay there for a few
minutes (if not more). Scent creates
a trail that aims to lead fishes lurking around to the bait sitting at the
bottom.
