Sensitivity

With Cork
Cork handles are known to give better
sensitivity as compared to EVA as well
as other handle materials thus Yuki Ito
decided on cork handles at the reel seat
area where the angler holds when he or
she fishes. It also looks nice adding to
the aesthetics of the Destroyer.
The EVA handle at the rear gives the
Destroyer added protection as that is
the section of any rod that sits on the
ground most. EVA certainly withstands
abuse better than cork and is lighter
than rubber of which is tougher. The
whole package makes lots of sense for a
freshwater type rod.
