Wash Them
After Each Trip

Caring for one’s fishing tackle includes washing them after every
trip. The same should be done
for cork handles. They can be
washed with a bit of soap to remove any slime or grime that has
gone on it. They can be scrubbed
lightly with a soft brush to remove dirt. Washing them also
makes them a less attractive
cookie to insects.
