Colour theory Graphics: Feature wall “A good sensual-haptic colour concept can stimulate the human senses and emphasise and reinforce people’s particular emotional relationship with their surroundings”. (Buether 2014) OLOUR Figure 49- Colour shapes [Primary source] Precedent A key aspect of my design scheme will be a feature wall. The wall will span upwards through all three levels and can be viewed from different angles from the internal windows, �������������������������������������������������������� building, it enables the user to discover a new element of the design wherever they stand. This playful element is designed to inspire and intrigue the users and general public. The colourful shapes will stand out in contrast against the white background. Memphis Art Movement Began in 1981 in Milan, Italy. ������������������������������������������������ ������������������������� Bright, multicoloured objects with a rejection of typical shapes. The idea behind this stems from my collages within part 1, which were abstract representations of colour emotions which I expressed through shape and pattern. The emotions associated with these colours link with the experiences within my scheme. Also how this emotion can cling to a person so they may experience a similar emotion again with the same colour but in a different situation.
