Emilia and iago in love?

Someone who can stand Iago for a long time must love him because he is a cruel man. It is clear that Emilia loves Iago with all her heart, she does all she can to make him happy. She goes as far as stealing Desdemona’s handkerchief. As for Iago he could care less about her. He calls her a whore and doesn’t even feel a bit of remorse about it. He finds it humorous. In no way are they in love because it takes two to be in love. Although there is no doubt she loves him. He believes she has cheated so as a result he no longer loves her, but we would assume he did at one time.

Desdemona ran away with a black man known as Othello. Desdemona is of nobility and Othello is a black man descended from slaves. Although he is the general of the Venetian army, he is still black and isn’t noble. Desdemona was supposed to marry someone of her social class. But instead she ran away and married a man of lower class. Brobantios with rage disowned his daughter and no longer cares for her. As a father you should never give up your child no matter if you disagree with what they do. No one said you have to agree but you should support your child’s decision. All that should matter is that she is happy. Brobantios was no father at all
