Othello.......Hero or Villain

Othello is a black man known for his pride. He believes his dear wife Desdemona has been false. He believes he must kill her for her to be safe and go to heaven but he does not even really try to hear her side of the story. He is so prideful that once his mind is made it stays that way. He decides to kill her. “Death and damnation! O!”(3.3) not once did he ask her until her final moments of life but it did not matter. Othello is no hero he is a villain he has taken the life of an innocent girl and taken his own as well. There is nothing noble about that. If he truly loved her he would have believed her but instead he was to prideful to give her the benefit of the doubt.
