The Breaking Point
It was April 2005, when the door I had kept tightly shut for decades, the one that held my deepest childhood pain, was suddenly, forcefully, opened. The man I had just begun to date didn’ t take my“ No” as an answer.
And just like that, the silence I had carried for a lifetime was pierced by betrayal. But with that violation came an unexpected gift: Clarity.
The assault did not define me. It refined me. And it ignited something eternal.
This was not just a breaking point, it was a birthing point.
The little girl in hiding and the woman afraid to speak merged into one voice, steady, bold, and called to lead others into God’ s purpose for their lives.
From that day forward, I vowed never again to allow shame to have the final word.
I would speak. I would teach. I would lead.
And I would build something beautiful from every broken piece. Every tear cried will carry with it a wage of war.
This is how FoRe! International was born.
