Jane McAdam Freud?British Marble bust from the Sigmund Freud Collection 2007 Edition 27/30 Signed Framed Print 42 x 29.5 cm Guide Price £1,000 “ Educated at Central School of Art and The Royal College of Art in London, recognition of Jane’s work began early, with her first solo show at the age of eighteen followed by the acquisition by the British Museum of one of her prize-winning works that have since been collected by National and International Museums. Jane has produced thirty-seven solo shows since 1996 and teaches annual courses in sculpture at Central St. Martins and Morley College, London. The original drawings of a selection of Sigmund Freud’s antiquities were done at the Freud Museum as part of a 20-month artist residency beginning in 2005. In 2007 I made a set of prints from the original drawings that culminated in a triptych of exhibitions, which travelled symbolically between Sigmund Freud’s birth and death place, and my local museum. ” jane mcadam freud 30 The Art of Resistance?
