YACHTS & YACHTING 35 whilst renowned for their heritage and craftsmanship, are now taking a decisive look to the future.
“ It’ s a natural evolution of our heritage,” explains Fatih Kapucu, Sales and Marketing Director at SES Yachts.“ While maintaining the shipyard’ s commitment to bespoke quality and artisanal construction, the new series introduces a carefully considered semi-custom platform capable of reaching a broader international audience without compromising the values that define us.”
Every aspect of the yacht has been conceived around the onboard experience. Spacious exterior living areas encourage relaxed cruising, allow for entertaining family and friends, and promote enjoyment of life on the water at an unhurried pace.
The main salon offers a flexible living environment, with the interior finishes combining traditional timber craftsmanship with contemporary fabrics.
One of the yacht’ s most distinctive features is the glass-bottomed Jacuzzi on the sun deck. Positioned directly above the al fresco dining area, it functions as an architectural skylight, allowing natural light and the movement of water to animate the space below. Utilising switchable liquidcrystal technology, the glass can be switched between a transparent and translucent quality.
The lower deck arrangement of the boat has been carefully standardised to optimise build quality while maintaining flexibility for owner customisation. Every technical decision has been guided by long-term usability rather than short-term trends, and those placing an order are afforded significant scope for interior personalisation even during the later stages of construction.
“ EPOQ was never about adding complexity,” explains designer Benjamin Julian Toth.“ Every design decision has been evaluated through the lens of how owners actually use their yachts. The result is a vessel that offers exceptional comfort while remaining practical to own and operate for decades.”
Beneath the water, a high-efficiency displacement hull form, developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects in Holland, reduces resistance across the entire speed range with owners benefitting from lower fuel consumption, greater cruising efficiency, and outstanding comfort at sea.
Elegant without excess, efficient beneath the waterline and flexible right up to the later stages of build, EPOQ makes a persuasive case that the gentleman’ s yacht still has plenty of miles left in it.
Orders for the 36m EPOQ are now being taken. All interested parties are encouraged to contact Ocean Independence:
