A hand-created texture beneath the dragon evokes the flowing movement of water and Lee’ s famous call to remain formless and adaptable. The hand-lacquered cone recalls the tortoiseshell appearance of the spectacles he wore during less prosperous periods of his life. The gold-coated clip is shaped like a nunchaku stick and finished in the same hand-applied lacquer, while the cap ring takes the form of bamboo. Set into red lacquer, the Montblanc emblem is interpreted as yin and yang with carefully selected yellow sapphires and red garnets. The handcrafted solid Au 750 gold nib is embossed
