Ask an experienced charter broker where to spend a week in August and the conversation should not begin with Saint-Tropez, Mykonos or Porto Cervo. It should begin with questions. Who is travelling? Are there children? Does the family actually want to move every day? Is lunch ashore important? Diving? Privacy? Nightlife? And, perhaps most revealingly, what made the last holiday brilliant— or disappointing?
This is where charter becomes less about choosing a yacht and more about making a series of intelligent decisions.
