The moon phase display is set within a circle of diamonds between 1 and 3 o’ clock – in line with the winding crown, which is set with a moonstone. Here, emerging from gold-edged clouds inlaid with mother-of-pearl, the gold moon waxes and wanes against a starry background sky in a deeper shade of dusky pink that creates a subtle contrast with the main dial. Thanks to the hand-painted artistry of the strap, together with the tonal variations that naturally characterise mother-of-pearl, every numbered watch in the 100-piece limited edition is subtly different from the others.
Along with the hand-painted spring blossom strap, this new Égérie model is presented with two additional straps – one in raspberry pink shiny alligator, the other in blush-pink grosgrain fabric – each featuring its own pink gold pin buckle.
