The fully renovated rooms and suites integrate a deeper connection to the resort’ s heritage with elements that pay homage to its founders and Crete’ s history and tradition: Minoan-inspired seal stones and artifacts pay tribute to Nikos Metaxa’ s collection and adorn the interiors celebrating Crete’ s ancient artistry, while traditional textiles honour Theano Metaxa who ardently collects handwoven textiles, ensuring their preservation for generations to come.
The renovated rooms are an extension of the Exclusive Adult Rooms Area launched in 2025 in the resort, allowing guests aged 16 and over to enjoy a quiet and exclusive holiday whilst at the resort.
