NEW SHAPES FOR THE SEASON
The Writing Traveler A design that connects the world of writing, the creative spirit of the desk, and the art of fine leather craftsmanship. The Writing Traveler draws inspiration from a transportable“ cabinet of curiosities” encouraging creative exploration with the essentials of a writer’ s workspace. The piece is available in two forms – a handbag and a briefcase – both featuring thoughtfully designed compartments that accommodate writing instruments, notebooks, small leather goods such as a wallet or cardholder, and a dedicated watch slot in the briefcase version.
The Writing Traveler is crafted from corteccia leather in earthy sand and khaki tones, the leather’ s embossed pattern drawing inspiration from the texture of tree bark. The pieces are finished with a gradient sfumato effect that shifts from deep to light, evoking the gentle diffusion of ink on paper. Each bag is individually airbrushed by hand at the final stage of production to make every sfumato piece subtly unique.
Montblanc Envelope Clutch & Clutch Document Holder The Fall / Winter season sees the introduction of an envelopeinspired clutch that acts as a homage to the Maison’ s writing heritage. Made in soft grain leather with Meisterstück calfskin leather detailing on the handle, the design features saddle stitching along the strap that recalls the motion of a pen tracing a dotted line.
The shape is offered in two compact formats: a smaller Clutch and a larger Clutch Document Holder, both available in a light brownhued noisette shade, khaki and black.
