70 LUXURY HOMES

THE ULTIMATE SUPERCAR

MAN CAVE

WHERE AUTOMOTIVE OBSESSION MEETS INTERIOR MASTERY

Nestled in the affluent enclave of Bowdon, South Manchester, one homeowner’ s vision of perfection wasn’ t quite complete— even after creating a 9,500 sq ft dream residence.
The missing piece? A supercar sanctuary.
Not just any garage, but a subterranean man cave conceived to celebrate extraordinary hypercars with a blend of immersive luxury, architectural ingenuity, and next-level technology.
Enter Design by UBER, the award-winning studio known for translating fantasy into form. With appearances on Netflix, Channel 5, and the Financial Times’ How To Spend It, their brief was clear: create a multifunctional automotive trophy cabinet that doubles as an indulgent retreat.
A DRIVEWAY DILEMMA TURNED DESIGN CHALLENGE
Despite owning a fleet of exotic sports cars, the client found them weatherexposed and underutilised due to a practical issue— an awkward garage access requiring uphill reversing. The solution? An internal transformation that would be both beautiful and functional. The idea expanded from a utilitarian garage into a full-blown lifestyle statement: a high-concept club space where you could play pool, enjoy fine wine, entertain guests, or simply admire world-class machines from every angle.
