LUCKNAM PARK ANNOUNCES HOTEL TRANSFORMATIONS FOR 2024
2024 sees the launch of two new cottages , the opening of Walled Garden Restaurant and further improvements and additions to The Lucknam Park Spa .
One of the UK ’ s most beloved country house hotels , Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa , is delighted to announce a series of transformations and new guest offerings launching in Spring 2024 , marking an exciting era for the hotel and further establishing the Relais & Châteaux property as a pioneer of British hospitality .
LAUNCH OF WALLED GARDEN RESTAURANT Elevating Lucknam Park ’ s culinary offerings to further heights , the hotel ’ s Brasserie is being restyled and refurbished into a beautiful new restaurant called Walled Garden Restaurant . Arriving in April 2024 , the new restaurant will possess all the romance and serenity of an English country garden and offer a seasonal dining experience where local produce , such as spring lamb reared on the estate ’ s grounds , and ingredients supplied by the hotel ’ s kitchen garden take centre stage against the backdrop of flowering gardens . Head Chef Alex Greene is the mastermind behind the new concept which takes the form of a sociable sharing plate experience during the day featuring dishes such as free-range pork chop accompanied with crab apple verjus , spring greens and roasted turnip ; apple and lavender honey glazed duck breast featuring a tangy green rhubarb chutney ; and confit duck with roast chicory and hazelnut salad , before transforming into an elegant evening a la carte experience where menu highlights include flat iron steak served with béarnaise sauce and skinny fries or a spring vegetable quiche complete with a seasonal walled garden salad . Walled Garden Restaurant will perfectly complement the Michelinstarred offering at Restaurant Hywel Jones , providing guests with a week-round , all-day dining destination .
INTRODUCTION OF APPLE TREE & PEAR TREE COTTAGES To add to the hotel ’ s already wellestablished cottage offering , which includes seven properties ranging from the cosy one-bedroom Gate House to the sprawling fourbedroom Squire ’ s Cottage , Lucknam Park is delighted to introduce Apple Tree and Pear Tree this spring . The charming stone-built cottages will feature two bedrooms , ensuring they are perfectly positioned to host families and groups of friends for a getaway during any season . The log-burning fireplaces and charming soft furnishings will warm up a crisp winter ’ s day , whilst the spacious private gardens , complete with outdoor furniture , are set to be a hit during the English summertime . The cottages offer the chance to enjoy the privacy and space of a home , combined with outstanding hotel service and facilities .
FURTHER ELEVATION OF THE SPA AT LUCKNAM PARK Lucknam Park is committed to constant innovation and strives to offer the finest experiences for guests . ENHANCEMENT OF THE EQUESTRIAN CENTRE The beautiful Lucknam Park horses and Equestrian Centre are beloved by guests and the hotel is dedicated to continuously elevating this unique guest experience . This year , guests of all levels of expertise will be able to experience the brandnew , state-of-the-art Outdoor School . The space has been redesigned by the highly acclaimed Andrews Bowen and now features a cushioned classic wax surface to offer support , stability and durability . Experiences available at the Equestrian Centre include one-to-one lessons , group hacks along the 500-acre estate ’ s meadow and woodland trails , the Cotswolds Explorer Ride which is a three-hour adventure that takes experienced horse riders on a journey through the Cotswolds countryside to sites such as Castle Combe , and private horse and pony hire .
