4 . Understand the onboard etiquette .
The crew work around the clock to ensure an unparalleled onboard experience , and arguably work harder than those of a 7 star hotel . Guests are advised to respect the team and follow the rules which are in place for their own safety – shoes off , lifejackets for children on deck , and listen to the captain and crew when given instructions !
5 . Know what you are expected to tip .
It is customary to leave a cash tip with the captain at the end of the charter , which will be divided equally amongst the crew . Tips are expected to be between 10-20 % of the charter value , so come prepared !
