Made from Connolly Vaumol leather that is used in car upholstery , the Driver Bag is the ultimate shape for every day use and for fitting in the essentials .
Beautifully crafted with a racing stripe in the middle , the Driver Bag is available in white , green , red and dark tan .
“ We started the journey for creating the new Driver Bag two years ago when I was trying to find a new colour for our Connolly leather collection . I wanted to find a colour and leather that had a history , an authenticity and which was not heavily finished but robust enough to suit our driving collection . Fourth generation Jonathan Connolly showed me old swatches from the Connolly leather archive , and one of the swatches from the 1970s was exactly what I was looking for ”.
“ It is notoriously hard to produce a good tan coloured leather . The leather can look too orange , or it goes flat and tinged with green . Two years later we have a beautiful dark tan Connolly leather that is exactly what I dreamt . And so , we are happy to introduce our most popular Connolly sports grip in our new dark tan . Badged and ready to roll . And just like that , we also produced its co-driver . A new bag for him , for her - a bag that works as an everyday bag , an office bag , a handbag , a bag that looks as good carried by a man or a woman . It has no metal work and its clean lines and design come from the automotive world .
