The Dalmore - Luminary Series No . 1 Collectible Edition
The Dalmore , the fastest growing luxury single malt whisky , and the V & A Dundee , Scotland ’ s renowned design museum have formed a world-first partnership to create the Luminary Series – a unique 3-year series of limited-edition whiskies presented by exceptional talent from the worlds of whisky and design .
The Luminary No . 1 , 2022 Edition launches the series with a Rare edition conceived by renowned architect and designer of V & A Dundee , Kengo Kuma , together with Master Distiller Richard Paterson OBE , and a Collectible edition co-created by their protégés – architect Maurizio Mucciola and Whisky Maker Gregg Glass .
The collectible edition comprises a 15-year old bottle of the Dalmore and unique gift box designed by Maurizio Mucciola and Gregg Glass .
Retailing for £ 250 through high-end retailers including Harrods , it would be a great inclusion in any holiday gift guide .
The Rare , designed by Kengo Kuma and Richard Paterson , will be offered at auction through Sotheby ’ s in November with a portion of the proceeds going to the V & A Dundee .
X MUSE
X MUSE , the first blended barley vodka inspired by Scottish spirit-making at the intersection of drinks innovation and the art thinking world , introduces the Reveal Series with Selfridges .
The series will spotlight contemporary artists via one-off commissions to design a collectible gift box . The inaugural edition sees X MUSE housed in a ‘ folly ’ conceived by Anglo-Argentinean artist Pablo Bronstein . The design echoes Bronstein ’ s Rose Walk at award-winning sculpture park and X MUSE ’ s spiritual home Jupiter Artland , just outside Edinburgh .
X MUSE can be sipped and savoured straight , on the rocks or act as an inspirational starting point for both classic and creative cocktails . The brand has created a bespoke cocktail in collaboration with Pablo Bronstein to honour the launch of the Reveal Series : The Invisible Quatrefoil .
