When thinking about a Land Rover you immediately think of a muddy hike through the country and having the freedom to take the car anywhere and this vehicle does give you the capability to do just that but with the Discovery Sport leaner profile , sporty angles and it ’ s feisty engine it just offers you that something a little bit more .
From the outside , the car does look big as you ’ d expect but when driving around town it offers you a sense of ease and gives you confidence when taking more urban routes . It has an essence of classiness about it and the new touches give you a lot of comfort and relaxation that you look for in a luxury SUV .
Generally , when you hear the word sport attached to a vehicle you automatically think of a high-performance vehicle or some go-faster stripes with a rattling exhaust but the Discovery is one of the few vehicles that can get away with having sport attached to its name . When you first pull away the car feels exactly how a Land Rover should . The driving position and visibility are excellent and the all-round comfort is superb but when you start going through the gears you can really feel the sportiness coming through .
There is plenty to like about the Discovery Sport and compared to the Range Rover Evoque with its fashionable styling the Discovery Sport ’ s versatility means it caters to a much wider audience which for me makes it a real stand out on the Jaguar product line .
