Dionne has a distinctively vibrant style which is inspired by her Caribbean / African heritage . Using an infusion of glass , beads and sometimes discarded objects , Dionne creates work that catches the eye and stirs the soul . Her signature pieces are her Regal and Royal Goddesses however she is also inspired by African symbolism , landscapes and animals .
She has been featured as a guest artisan on the ITV daytime show “ 60 Minute Makeover ”, commissioned by Royal Warrant holders , Joel & Sons Fabrics , featured in Good Housekeeping Magazine and been on the judging panel for the 2020 World Interiors News Awards .
Through her developing journey as an artist , Dionne has been an advocate of reducing landfill and has always resisted the need to throw away the leftovers from completed projects . Instead she chooses to keep as much as possible to be reused in personal pieces , workshops and other art projects .
Dionne can be found at various festivals and craft fairs where she not only exhibits her vibrant collection but also delivers fun and creative workshops .
Dionne ’ s aim is to share her passion , inspire , motivate and educate .
