Bucherer presents the Harley-Davidson Blue Edition, the latest and most unusual member of the Bucherer Blue Editions watch collection. The custom made motorcycle is courtesy of Bündnerbike, the boutique Harley-Davidson workshop. Every metal element found on this one-of-a-kind motorcycle has been produced, welded, beaten, ground and polished by hand. This unique piece is perfected by the incorporation of the arts of watchmaking and jewellery making. This is also a world first: never before have a watch and jewels been integrated in a motorcycle. With a value of CHF 1.888 million it is the most expensive motorcycle in the world
There are a few key elements that give the bike its high value; this includes the six layers of iridescent blue paint, gold-plated screws and 360 diamonds applied to the silver-plated body. Handmade detailing covers the bike, which includes hand grips draped in Bucherer jewellery, and a 5.40-carat diamond tucked inside an armoured glass dome.
With all of these elements, the Harley-Davidson Blue Edition is testimony to the passionate spirit, the comprehensive design understanding and the openness to new ideas from Bucherer. It is the perfect addition to the Bucherer Blue Editions watch collection, created in cooperation between Bucherer and the most renowned brands in the watchmaking industry.
