DELI SUPPER CLUB
THE INITIATIVE LAUNCH THE VIRTUAL DELI CAT SUPPER CLUB SERIES
In response to the U.K lockdown, trailblazing
hospitality group The Initiative have diversified their
offerings in a matter of days to bring a taste of
restaurant dining into the home of their customers.
Every week join The Initiative, along with a host of
guest Chefs, for an evening of culinary creation from
the comfort of your own kitchen.
Renowned Chef Robin Gill will lead the first
installation of the series on Thursday 9th April and
brings a wealth of experience having worked in
multiple Michelin star restaurants worldwide along
with his own restaurant, ‘The Dairy’ in Clapham
Common.
As part of the Deli supper club, Robin will share his
tips, tricks and tastes acquired from a career spent in
the company of the culinary elite. Each week a new
chef will be announced to lead the supper club, along
with a new menu. Stay tuned for announcements on
future guest Chefs which will be revealed in the
coming weeks.
Tickets for the Deli Cat Supper Club are £40 each,
with £5 from each ticket donated to The Initiative’s
new foodbank charity - a new initiative which creates
food survival kits to support hospitality workers who
have lost their income during this period.
The Initiative hope to create upwards of 100 food
survival kits per week ; r egistrations to receive the kits
can be made at [email protected]
Youri Michel from The Initiative says: “When the UK
went into lockdown, we knew we needed to reinvent
our existing offerings.
We wanted to ensure that we could protect the
employment of our workers, continue to satisfy
customers and support those in the hospitality
industry who have been affected by CoronaVirus.
We have set up an online Grocery Store which
donates £1 to a foodbank for hospitality workers and
delivers to the home, in addition to our new virtual
supper club series which we hope will provide some
enjoyment and relief at home during these tough
times.”
