THE SOURCE GIN
FORGED BY THE FOUR SEASONS THAT BLOW THROUGH THE CARDRONA VALLEY
The Source Gin is forged by the four seasons that blow
through the Cardrona Valley, located in the pristine
Southern Alps in New Zealand.
The very best equipment has been sourced from the
four corners of the earth, to make great-hand-crafted
Single Malt Whisky, Gin, Single Malt Vodka and
Liqueurs.
Full of flavour and character, The Source Gin is made
from a natural matrix of locally foraged rosehip,
together with traditional juniper, coriander seed,
angelica root, lemon and orange zest – all vapour-
distilled into Cardrona
Distillery’s Single Malt Spirit. All Cardrona spirits are made from grain to glass on site
at Cardrona Distillery and start with just three
ingredients: pure Cardrona alpine water, malted barley,
and distillers’
yeast.
Small batch and lovingly hand-crafted at the family-
owned Cardrona Distillery, this super-premium gin
goes through a two-step process, both copper pot and
column distillation. This lends a unique flavour profile. These simple
ingredients are distilled in a German made Jacob Carl
column still, before becoming either vodka, gin or one
of the growing liqueur flavour collection.
Importantly it is non-chill-filtered, which means
that the spirit clouds are noticeable with dilution or
when cold – a mark of distinction for this very rare and
very special drop. Meanwhile, the whisky, using the same three
ingredients, is distilled a little differently, in Cardrona
Distillery’s two copper pot stills made by Forsyths of
Scotland.
The Source was awarded a Gold at the New York World
Wine & Spirits Competition and has been featured as
one of the World’s Top 50 Gins.
