SOFAS & STUFF LAUNCHES FRAME,
A NEW COLLECTION OF CONTEMPORARY FURNITURE AND FABRIC
design: not one particular look, but the freedom to bring together form, fabric, colour and pattern in a way that feels individual. Shape and proportion establish the character of each design, while upholstery can change it again, from bold print and expressive colour to more restrained neutrals and tactile plains.
Seven new forms The seven FRAME designs offer distinctly different interpretations of contemporary upholstered furniture.
Across the collection, upholstery gives each form further possibilities: pattern can emphasise a curve, colour can unify or define a modular composition, and texture can soften a more structured silhouette.
Fabric at the heart of FRAME At the heart of the fabric collection are six exclusive designs created in collaboration with Harper’ s Bazaar, inspired by covers from the British edition of the magazine dating from 1930 to 1959.
Seven new furniture designs, original prints, an exclusive Harper’ s Bazaar fabric collaboration and a curated collection of plains and weaves come together in FRAME, launched 8th October 2026.
British furniture and fabric company Sofas & Stuff launches FRAME, a new collection of contemporary furniture and fabric that brings a fresh perspective to the brand’ s distinctive approach to upholstery.
At the heart of FRAME are seven new furniture designs, spanning sweeping curves and low modular forms to cleaner, more angular profiles and a graphic high back. Alongside them is a new fabric collection: six exclusive fabrics created in collaboration with Harper’ s Bazaar, original designs by Sofas & Stuff Founder and Design Director Andrew Cussins, and a wider edit of woven and textured plains.
Together, they express a Sofas & Stuff perspective on contemporary
• Arc is defined by its sinuous, sweeping silhouette, with fixed seat and back cushions allowing the curve to run uninterrupted through the sofa.
• Form is low, rounded and completely modular, with individual upholstered modules that can stand alone or connect in straight, corner and chaise configurations.
• Aspect takes a more graphic direction, with a high back and deep horizontal channels giving it a distinctive retro quality and support for the head and shoulders.
• Muse puts softness firmly in the foreground, combining generous cushioning with a low profile and narrow arms.
• Linear has a clean, squared profile and single bench seat, with fixed upholstery for a more tailored finish or a loose cover for a softer expression.
• Sketch lightly redraws the classic scroll-arm sofa, with slender arms and a single seat cushion giving familiar lines a lighter proportion.
• Perspective is visibly soft and relaxed, with deep, pillowy cushions and flanged edges bringing definition to its informal shape.
Drawing on fashion illustration, photography, colour, tailoring and decorative detail, the designs translate visual ideas from the archive into fabrics for contemporary interiors. Original fabrics by Andrew Cussins sit alongside them, with a wider edit of woven and textured plains completing the collection. Andrew Cussins, Founder and Design Director of Sofas & Stuff, says:“ I’ ve always loved the way textiles can completely change the character of a piece of furniture, and give people the freedom to make it their own.”
