How did the collaboration with photographer Francisco Nogueira help in translating the project’ s bold use of color and emotional depth into compelling visual narratives?
Colour is extremely hard to photograph properly— especially saturated tones— because the
emotion can disappear if the lighting isn’ t right. Francisco understood from the beginning that this project wasn’ t just about colourful rooms; it was about how colour makes you feel in each space.
Instead of trying to make everything look perfect or overly glossy, he focused on atmosphere.
He paid attention to how the light hits the walls at different hours, how textures soften strong colours, how reflections and shadows add warmth, and how the rooms feel when someone is actually living in them. He didn’ t flatten the colours— he let them breathe.
