During this year’ s Clerkenwell Design Week( 20-22 May), they will come together for an unmissable design conversation:‘ Material Impact – Designing with Purpose’.
Hosted by Alys Bryan, Editorial Director, Design Insider, the afternoon panel talk features a glittering line-up of influential interior professionals:

• Tom Thorogood, Partner and Co- Head of Interiors at Studio Moren
• Joanna Knight, Co-founder, The Sustainable Design Partnership

The conversation will centre around materiality – from tactile quality and performance to cultural connection and long-term value and is sure to touch upon the practical and emotional impact of material choice in hospitality interiors. Guided by Alys Bryan, the panel will consider how manufacturers must support sustainable design through lifetime costing, transparency and accountability in the supply chain, as well as the growing use of EPDs.
Taking place in Ulster Carpets’ Clerkenwell, London showroom,‘ Material Impact – Designing for Purpose’, offers a chance for specifiers and designers working in hospitality interiors and interior design to hear from change-makers in the industry. The scene is set for an upbeat, informative and enlightening conversation.
