Shewekar is a three-times award-winning interior and furniture design studio . Eclectic , multilayered and passionate , the studio ’ s design aesthetic is to combine styles , eras and design philosophies to create timeless , unique spaces and pieces . Over the past 20 years the team has grown to over 25 creative and detail-oriented designers and architects , with commercial and residential projects across Egypt , the Middle East and Europe . SOFT , AMBIENT LIGHTING AT TATE BRITAIN
Tate Britain is in the London borough of Westminster , in an area called Millbank . With the help of a generous donation from Tate himself , the gallery was built and opened in 1897 . Today , the gallery serves as an important cultural institution , contributing to the appreciation and understanding of the history of British art . One of the gallery showrooms on the main floor , Duveen Gallery , features luminaires from GVA Lighting , a Canadian-based LED manufacturing company located in Oakville , Ontario . STR9 Lite RGBW luminaires , delivering up to 626 lumens / ft , were chosen for soft , ambient lighting , washing the curved , windowed ceiling in an aesthetically warm glow . These compact and lightweight luminaires were the perfect lighting choice for such a prestigious historical building .
