CONCEPT & CREATION
For this Chennai based residence of approx . 10,500 sq . ft in the heart of the city , the influx of ideas on our blank slate was quite overwhelming . Designing this multi-generational abode gave us immense scope to experiment with textures , materials , tones and traditions both old and new . And Design Co conceived both the interiors & the architectural design of this compact footprint measuring 12m X 26m over 3 levels . The building stands strong on its own with an understated and timeless façade that would age well over time . Perimeter garden walls border the house to influence the temperature of the villa , Chennai being hot & oppressive all year round .
