ISLANDS LOW TABLE ( INDOOR + OUTDOOR ), DESIGN STEPHEN BURKS , 2020
Known for blending tradition and a spirit of freedom , past and contemporary , industry and craftsmanship , the American designer Stephen Burks draw on to the design of the storage units launched in 2019 , giving life to the new family of Islands Low Table , available both for indoor and outdoor . With top available black lacquered , in marble or veneered in wood and a perimeter of pirouetting slats , which turn them into practical containers , these objects decorate both residential and contract spaces in the name of a luxury that speaks of the past , proving to be contemporary .
FINISHINGS
Set of coffee tables of three different heights and diameters , accessible along the entire perimeter thanks to a series of pivoting slats , available both for indoor and outdoor .
Indoor version : top and bottom , contoured and bevelled MDF , with the bottom part always lacquered with epoxy powder coating matt black , and top available veneered charcoal dyed oak or Stone Oak ®, with bevelled edge always lacquered with epoxy powder coating matt black , all lacquered matt black or in red Levanto or Sahara Noir marble with a satin finish and an opaque transparent protective varnish or a matt or glossy polyester finish . Slats with elliptical cross-section in aluminium extrusion , available painted matt black or veneered in charcoal dyed oak or in Stone Oak ®. Feet with elliptical cross-section , made in aluminium extrusion always with matt black finish .
Outdoor version : top and bottom contoured and bevelled Purenit ®, always matt black lacquered . Slats with elliptical cross-section in aluminium extrusion with matt black finish . Feet , with elliptical cross-section , made in aluminium extrusion , always with matt black finish .
