85 A selection of some of the eco-friendly products Penketh Group has available: Muuto’s Under The Bell lamp: This large pendant lamp with its raw, ridged texture of recycled plastic felt is multi-functional as it not only provides light, it also improves the acoustics of a room. When hung over a table or in an open environment it creates its own space within the bigger space. The Copenhagen designed lamp embraces and shelters the table and people sitting underneath it and the soft recycled plastic felt cleverly absorbs sounds. Sustainable Tub Chair: Nomique’s Moka Felt is a unique sustainable tub chair which gives waste a second life. The self-supporting seat shell is made from 60 recycled PET bottles. The choice to use this innovative material is not only good for the environment, but it also looks and feels great. An additional positive feature is its sound absorbing quality. The tub chair is available in light and dark grey felt and fitted with a seat pad. Environmentally Responsible Chair: The Axia fully circular chair from Nomique uses a high volume (up to 65%) of recycled or re-used material. Its parts and seat cushions can also be easily replaced to prolong its life. As well as supporting the user and the environment, this chair boats 0% CO2 emissions during use. At the end of its life, the manufacturer offers a buy back scheme where the chair can be returned to the factory and its parts re-used or recycled. Design that lasts: The Ensemble is a long lasting and durable task chair which offers a sustainable solution for any workplace. With its minimum use of virgin material, and modern and beautiful design, this is a chair that can be sent back to source for 100% recycling to make new chairs. Fibre chairs: The Four®Me Wood Armchair is an elegant and tactile shell chair which brings a touch of the home into the workspace. The surface of each shell chair consists of a bio-polypropylene material enforced with wood fibres visible to the eyes and hands, making each chair unique. Bio-polypropylene, commonly used in the packaging industry, has extensive environmental benefits. By using wooden fibre, there is also less oil used in the production.
