Hamilton Litestat is confirmed as one of just eight exhibitors to showcase its product range at the annual conference for the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID). Set to explore the theme of ‘interior identities’ this year, the BIID Conference will take place on 16th June 2016 at Royal Geographical Society in London. In collaboration with renowned British artist Damien Hirst, French luxury crystal maker Lalique has produced a unique collection of crystal panels. Entitled Eternal, the project encapsulates the ephemeral and illusive form of the butterfly, a symbol of life and beauty, which is a creature close to the hearts of both René Lalique and Damien Hirst. In Hirst’s work, the graceful butterfly also serves as a reminder of the fragility of life. The panels, of which just fifty have been created in each of the 12 available colours, have been produced in three distinct motifs; Hope, Love and Beauty. Each panel is engraved with Hirst’s signature, is numbered and comes complete with a signed edition certificated.
